• The distance between the base of the rangehood and the cooktop is too great. >>> Check the user manual on recommended distance for installation.

• Something in contact with the fan blade >>> Contact service department.

Light on, but motor does not work

• Capacitor damaged >>> Replace capacitor.
• Motor jammed bearing damaged >>> Replace motor.
• Bad smell from the motor >>> Replace motor.

Light does not work, motor does not work

• Besides the above mentioned, check the following:
• Light not working >>> Replace the light globe.
• Power cord looses >>> Connect the wires as per electric diagram.

Rangehoods do not have oil in the motor. The oil will be build up from extraction. Remove the filters and clean them per the user manual.
